Faith Weaver Friends Games/Awards Night

On June 10, Faith Weaver Friends finished their school year with a games and awards night. Seven stations were set up where participants to score points for prizes. Following the games everyone enjoyed a meal of hotdogs. The evening concluded with the giving of awards earned during the past quarter for Bible memory, journaling, service and church attendance.

MOPS Summer Small Group Bible Study

Mothers of Preschoolers are meeting the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of June through August for Bible Study. The study is called Trusting God in All Things and is on the Book of Job. If you are interested in participating contact 332-5078 or mops@gretnabaptistchurch.com.

Baptism Service at Gretna Baptist.

One adult and three children were baptized in a special service Sunday, May 31. Baptism is an ordinance given by Jesus Christ for Christians to observe. It is a public testimony of faith in Jesus Christ. It declares to those present that the participant is identified with His death, burial, and resurrection.

GBC Spring Golf Outing.

Saturday, May 30, twelve men and women of Gretna Baptist Church enjoyed an afternoon of golf and fellowship at the Eagle Run Golf Course in Omaha. The afternoon included nine holes of golf, and pin prizes for for longest putt and closest to the pin from anywhere from off the green. A good time was had by all.
